Requesting an in-person consultation.

Complimentary consultations are available at 10am-10:30am Tuesday-Friday. This gives us a chance to sit down in person to chat about your tattoo ideas. In-person consultations are available to everyone but in particular recommended to clients who want to check out the studio prior to booking; for cover ups; or where your tattoo is surrounded by multiple other pieces or tricky placements; or for clients who find communication in person more effective.

Please note that this initial meeting us a free appointment to confirm if we are a good fit to work together; discuss your ideas; and get a price estimate for your project. There would be no drawing or design mock ups provided during a consultation. If we choose to move forward with booking in dates my deposit structure will be discussed in person and payment can be made via my website at that time.

Thankyou!! I look forward to seeing you soon.

A Note on Declining Projects:

There are several types of tattoo that I do not work on. If you want any of these tattoos, please contact another artist. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Style mismatches; I don’t do any fine line tattoos, pastel only soft watercolour with no defintion, micro-tattoos, cybersigilism, all white ink; or anything I don’t believe is going to age well or work as a solid tattoo. All the tattoos I do are permanent.

  • Subject matter deemed as racist, sexist, transphobic or in any way shitty. GTFO.

  • Tattoo placements; if you are requesting a high-visibility tattoo and you don’t have significant coverage of other tattoos I may decline your project. This includes tattoos anywhere on the hands, neck or face.

  • Tattoo designs which are copies of other existing work- see more on my FAQ regarding this.

  • I typically can’t take on ‘walk in style’ tattoos ( for example, simple script, roman numerals, symbols in black ink only) due to my schedule being quite full with other more specialised projects. Feel free to DM me on Instagram if you’re looking for a small appointment week of and I can try squeeze you in for things like this.
If you want to add these into another appointment where we are working on another tattoo; or the tattoo is to cover scarring, that’s probably fine- just ask!

  • I will of course do whatever I can do work with you and your project, but if I don’t think it’s going to be a good match I will let you know.
